Illustrator and game designer based in Hong Kong & Shanghai.
Intro
Passionate about game, cartoon, science or sci-fi, I am a illustrator mainly driven by my own interest. My long-term goal is to creat my own game about space traveling and exploration, with the aim of broadening my audience’s knowledge and interest on science and space topics with this interactive form of presentation.
Work style
I work on a range of styles influenced by cartoon and science fictions – mono but detailed comic-like drawings or vibrant and minimalistic colour illustrations. Spacecrafts, vehicles, buildings, flora, landscapes, and everyday items are what I loved to draw.
I mainly work in a traditional fine art / comic-like workflow, starting with either digital or hand-drawn sketches – often many iterations, then progressively completing their lines, details and colours. I am comfortable working with pencil, charcoal, and pen as traditional tools for mono drawings. Either water colour or opaque acrylic for colored works – these stay the same when I work digitally nowadays.
